THIS WEEK...

Sunday, October 13, 12-3pm:
Mudcat hosts a monthly Roots & Blues Jam at Waller's Coffee Shop, Decatur – "A beloved fixture on the local blues scene, Daniel “Mudcat” Dudeck has been entertaining Atlantans since the tail end of the ’80s. Mudcat makes the blues fun without dumbing down the sound. It’s like a juke joint party where you might... learn something cool, but you’re sure to have a good time. " - Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Sunday, October 13, 7pm:
ZZ Top 50th Anniversary Tour at Ameris Bank Amphitheater, Alpharetta – With roots firmly planted in the foundations of the electric blues masters who preceded them, Funky Bluester pays the reverence and homage due to the masters while simultaneously being unbound by traditional blues formats.

Sunday, October 13, 7pm, Free:
Fat Back Deluxe at Fat Matt's – Fatback Deluxe plays classic American music deeply rooted in 1940’s, 50’s and early 60’s blues mixed with original songs. Performances feature a broad variety of blues styles, and as the living history of blues music is slowly being lost with the passing of our heroes, the band remains committed to keeping the music alive.

COMING UP SOON...

Tunes by the Tracks
At 7:00 PM on October 18, 2019, Tunes by the Tracks is back for Fall! Every Friday night on the tracks in Stone Mountain Village. Next week's featured performer is JIMMY T HARRIS & Friends, with Cameron Horne. Don’t forget your lawn chair! Beer, wine, and soft drinks are available for purchase. Proceeds go directly to keeping “Tunes By the Tracks” free to enjoy the exceptionally talented indie roots, blues and Americana artists trackside on the Main Street stage in Stone Mountain Village.

Outlaws-at-Madlife
At 7:00 PM on October 25, 2019, MadLife will host The Outlaws for a powerful and exclusive one-show performance. Formed in Tampa in 1972, The Outlaws’ debut album hit the charts in 1975, featuring instant hits including “There Goes Another Love Song” and “Green Grass and High Tides”. Since that debut and for more than 40 years, the Southern Rock legends have celebrated triumphs and endured tragedies to remain one of the most influential and best-loved bands of the southern rock genre. Today, The Outlaws have returned with new music, new focus and an uncompromising new mission: It’s about a band of brothers bound together by history, harmony and the road. It’s about a group that respects its own legacy, while not being defined by its past.
